I did 20 sessions of neurofeedback therapy, last spring, at Aspen Valley Counseling. It has helped me to pay attention, recognize when I’m zoning out, bring myself back to the present moment, feel more calm-internally, and my dreams, although still vivid, aren’t as frequent and exhausting. I have a greater ability to recognize when I’m tensing up and am now able to relax, take a deep breath, and recenter. It has simply helped me to feel more calm, present, and capable to retain what I hear and learn. I’m very grateful for the gift it has been in my day to day life.
