Silvana Santa Cruz, ACMHC

Therapist (Orem)

I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in General Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix.  I currently hold a license as an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I have experience working in the mental health field in various settings, including outpatient, inpatient, crisis centers, etc. I’ve had the opportunity to work with adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, personality disorders, and ADHD. I practice integrative approaches including CBT, DBT, narrative, motivational interviewing, positive psychology, and art therapy interventions. I also enjoy my work in Neurofeedback and Brain Training, with an experience of three years. I am working on completing my EMDR License.

I am bilingual, Spanish being my native language, which has allowed me to work with the Hispanic community as well as understand the impact culture has on mental health. I strive to be a therapist that celebrates diversity and provides various resources and approaches to help the unique circumstances of each individual.
